"I believe that all the arts are necessary to a full life. The arts are the means by which we can look through the magic casements and see what lies beyond." - Ralph Vaughan-Williams

Founded in 2007, we specialise in brand new adaptations of the classics, using minimalist sets, stylised props and costumes, and actors of the highest calibre. Our repertoire of shows include original adaptations of ‘Tess of the d'Urbervilles’, ‘Crime & Punishment’, ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘Pride & Prejudice’, ‘Mantao the Jester King’, ‘The Drift of Ice’ and ‘The Hunchback of Notre-Dame’ which are exclusive to Myriad and specially adapted for just 5 actors.

We combine an innate understanding of the timelessness and relevance of each piece with a tremendous respect for the authors we choose and their unique contributions to the world of literature.

Our 2011 season began with 'The Count of Monte Cristo' which played at The Brockley Jack Studio Theatre in March and then toured. We followed that with a fringe production of Dostoyevsky’s sizzling classic ‘The Brothers Karamazov’ which went down a storm at Barons Court Theatre in June. In the Autumn we toured to Arts Festivals with Dickens' wonderful 'Great Expectations' and we finished the year with a new adaptation of Alcott's enchanting 'Little Women'.
